Tombs

Yesterday our family traveled to the tombs of the seven kings that ruled over the fort that you heard about in Mark's blog. They were HUGE. Not only were the kings kept in them, but they had separate tombs for the wives, sons, and daughters. You had to take your shoes off before going into them and our guide had to yell some sort of a chant before we could take the curtain off of the tomb. Each tomb had a way to get to the top. There were eight entrances, but only one was the right way. It was too bad that they were all closed off so that we couldn't get up. The last tomb was never finished because the fort was taken over before it was finished. We actually ended up going back to the fort afterwards and did pretty much the same tour as we had done the other day. We got back from Hyderabad this morning and are ready to start school tomorrow. I'll update you about our school in a couple of days.
